Translation of ULCCS 100 years old experience in infrastructural development to the academic communities is the focus of the current research. A key research area is the concept of collaborative entrepreneurship to establish a local and global model. The way forward is alternative models supported by mathematically and biologically inspired systems in social and scientific fields.

Apart from the aestethic values of the craft the exploration of mindful algorithms for the pattern making and thinking process is the research focus in craft science. Learning the mindset from the craft pattern and modelling craft and related artistic forms have wide applications in the pattern formation and recognitions in algorthamic development. Current resarch focus on transaltion creativity in the crafts for developing better mathamatical models and intelligent way of idea generation.
